Winter Scene

Wind BreakToday I decided to divert from my little studies and do a winter scene that really appealed to me. I love the little bit of sun peaking through the trees.    I did try to work loosely on this and felt like I had some success not being too fussy.

I live in Juneau, Alaska where the inspiration in nature abounds! I love taking photos of this beautiful place and then painting them. In 2013 I left my job in order to devote more time to my artwork. One of the ways I have been learning, is through online tutorials.
