Three of my favorite things are morning sunshine, painting, and a good cup of coffee. Put these together and you get
‘Art with my coffee.’
My name is Christine Lewis and I am a mostly self-taught artist from Maine living in beautiful Alaska. I’ve been creating some sort of artwork for most of my life but eventually discovered my passion was for painting the landscape in oils.
I draw much of my inspiration from reference photos taken while my husband and I enjoy much of what Alaska has to offer. We are blessed to be able to garden, hunt, fish and explore its beauty. My paintings are my way of sharing these special times and places with others.
In 2017 I was accepted into the Juneau Artist Gallery in Juneau, Alaska. I am honored to be part of this gallery and I look forward to what this year will hold.
